Within the framework of the DINAMICA II Initiative of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), the German government, through KfW, and the European Union signed a non-reimbursable technical assistance agreement with the Technological Institute of Chalatenango (ITCHA) to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the area.

The project, with an investment of US$28,318.58, aims to strengthen the technical capacities of ITCHA's Business Development Center (CDE) in terms of managing support for entrepreneurship and MSMEs, improving service and support during the creation, formalization, and consolidation stages of their businesses.

Among the main results are a diagnosis of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, identifying business needs, opportunities, and challenges; the strengthening of productive chains through the design of a strategy to link suppliers and buyers; and specialized training for CDE technical staff and ITCHA teachers, including the implementation of a pilot test that will allow the application of knowledge in real situations.

Through these actions, the project will benefit more than 175 MSMEs in the department over the next few years, promoting innovation, job creation, and local economic development.

The DINAMICA II Initiative is implemented by CABEI with the support of KfW and the European Union, and seeks to strengthen entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems in Central America through technical assistance and access to financing for MSMEs.
