To date, the European Investment Bank has supported 117 projects in 14 countries with total financing of EUR 8.4 billion.
It is stepping up its lending in Latin America to enhance its support for EU cooperation policies with the region and to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, with a particular focus on climate change mitigation and adaptation.
